Short Biography

...an old photo...

I was born in December 1976 in a town called Jonquière (now called Ville de Saguenay), in Québec, where I lived until I was old enough to finish High School (Polyvalente Arvida) and join the military. I was also part of my city's Air Cadet squadron (634) for five years during my youth.

Once I joined the service, I studied to earn a Computer Engineering degree at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC). I am now a Signal Officer and work in the National Capital Region after spending over two years in the Joint Signal Regiment in Kingston, ON.
My interests lie mainly in the security of information systems, cryptography, software design and programming (Java, PHP, MySQL). I enjoy sports, especially Waterpolo, Volleyball and Ultimate Freezbee.
I have a younger brother Sébastien, who has studied computer programming and now lives in Montréal. I am just recently returning from an operational deployment in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 27 February to 14 September 2003, where I was the Multinational Brigade North-West Electronic Warfare Officer.
